As a simple cron job I don't get out a whole lot or form deep, philosophical opions. After all, I'm just a cron job, but I do enjoy a good comic once in awhile (vague reference). Actually, I got the name cronjob from always having to run in the background at work just to stay alive.
I actually started working with computers back when the internet consisted largely of pneumatic tubes, USA Robotics modems, Al Gore, FIDO Net and homing pigeons. As the years went by, and online gambling took off, the tubes which comprised the internet began to fill up with race horses and poker chips.
Homing pigeons (being unable to take up the necessary slack) were supplanted largely by the plucky English and/or African Flying Sparrow. (and coconuts)
I leave you now with words of wisdom from the man pages ...
