Just came across Dr. Web Live CD. As described on http://www.freedrweb.com/livecd/ it sounds very nice to use. But I would like to know if anyone here has actually used it and if its good.

regards, Elise

Well, since this topic is more than a year old, I had some time to do some testing.

The big problem is, on a live CD, you can delete any file you want, even these necessary for Windows to start up. Besides that, by deleting the files, but leaving the associated registry entries (startup entries, services, drivers to name a few), you can create serious problems.

Bottomline: live CD's are great to use, but be sure you know what you are doing to avoid serious trouble!
