idmiecc.dll is related to Internet Download Manager Module.

Are you no longer using that program? If so, please note the following.

A .dll (Dynamic Link Library) is a file composed of small programs and code containing functions that can be used by other executable code such as an application or another .dll module that is running on the computer. Larger applications use .dll files during program execution rather than being compiled with the main program. Since these files can contain code used by other programs, some .dll files may be locked and considered as in use by that program so they cannot be easily deleted.

You didn't answer whether you are using Internet Download Manager Module or not.

Sorry but your answer is still unclear.

Are you answering my question by acknowledging you didn't answer it? If so, why not?

Or are you trying to say you didn't install the program?

Then uninstall the program and reboot. That should remove the file.

The correct way to remove any program is to use Add/Remove Programs from the Control Panel or Programs and Features in Vista first, then delete the folder if it still exists. Note: With some programs its best to uninstall while in "Safe Mode"

If there is no entry in Add/Remove, then you would look in the program's folder for an uninstall.exe and use that. If there is no entry in Add/Remove and the uninstaller fails, then try reinstalling, then uninstalling the program. Another option is to search the vendor's web site for a removal tool.

In your case you can find a removal tool in IDM's FAQ: How can I uninstall IDM?. I would use it in Safe Mode.
