In my vista event viewer I found many diagnostic problems.Event ID 100 is critical and it is related to boot performance. Every time I start or reboot my Inspiron,I can find same:event ID 100,diagnostic critical, boot performance related. There are few other, always the same IDs with warning or critical diagnosis. What is it?Is it serious? How I can fix it?
Thank you

What are the details of the warnings?
What do you see when you go to Start and type in "perfmon /report" (without the quotes) and press Enter?
My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.

To get the details of the errors, double click on the error and it will give you more information.

As for perfmon /report - you've gotta type perfmon, then a space, then /report in the search box that appears when you click on the Start button. Press Enter after doing that and a report should run.

I'm also experiencing this. The below should give you some idea of what we're dealing with.
It's not crippling my laptop (vista, inspiron 1520, 2GB, 2.0ghz, sp1), but I'm concerned it's slowing things down.
Here's an event viewer log:

Also one with an event ID 400:

There were a couple more event ID's scattered here and there, but these two are the most common and most recent.
Any help would be appreciated.
