Just to introduce myself.

I am a pc user and have always wanted to know what is happening under the "hood" of a computer (used to be a Cobol computer programmer in the early 70's when things seemed so much simpler). Lately things are happening with my pc (such as unexpected crashes and screen freezes) which leave me frustrated and wanting to know more about what is happening "behind the scenes". I use the Microsoft Windows Vista operating system, and find the on-line help pages tell me very little. I hope that I can gather information from other forum users when I have questions.

Having Members with practical experience and expertise in Vista will be a great help to you. Don't hesitate to post a question or about a problem.
