Yesterday my computer was working fine I go make dinner and come back to the computer and figured it was in sleep mode. Some how it turned itself off. now it won't boot up. There is power to my mother board and my liquid cooling system is working. However I can't open my DVD drives and it doesn't sound like the hard drives are spinning. I can't imagine that it is the power supply since there is power to the mother board. Any suggestions?

A power supply can appear to be working & still be bad.
It sounds like maybe the power supply [hopefully not the motherboard] has bit the big one.

Try this, Unplug the computer & leave it unplugged awhile, at least an hour, then try it.

My next suggestion is to try a different power supply.
If it doesn't start with a different power supplt I'd suspect the power supply went out & fried the mothervoard ?

Whaht make is the power supply "

wasn't the power supply put in another power supply and same problem. I am at a loss so I'm going to install another motherboard that I have laying around and see what happens.
