trouble uploading to a website that has "browse"

I am trying to upload a 1min video to a website. I hit browse go to the file where it is suppose to be and i click on the folder and nothing comes up in the folder. the file says its a mpeg file but it will only allow me to open/upload mpg mov or wav isn't mpg the same as mpeg?

It's a different extension...but, for all intents and purposes....they are the same.

Generally, if a program accepts one, it accepts the other.

The solution may be to just change the file extension to .mpg. It will still work, I believe...in spite of the warning you may receive as you change it. If it doesn't work, just change it back.

how do i change the file extension? i tried renaming it but that doesn't work

You just rename it, changing the extension.

If that doesn't work...you have problems.
