Internet Explorer is for all intents and purposes dead on my computer. When I launch it, it open fine and loads the home page. I can click on links with no problem. However, if I use a favorite or type an address in, it locks completely. If I then minimize it, it continually pops back up over top of other windows. I then have no choice but to end task on it. Also appearing today when i try to login to my employers VPNB via IE are memory address errors. For the most part I could live with this, but when i work from home, I have no choice but to connect to my employer and various resources via IE!!

Thanks and again sorry for the delay.

We need to see some information about what is happening in your machine. Please perform the following scan:
  • Download DDS by sUBs from one of the following links. Save it to your desktop.
  • Double click on the DDS icon, allow it to run.
  • A small box will open, with an explaination about the tool. No input is needed, the scan is running.
  • Notepad will open with the results.
  • Follow the instructions that pop up for posting the results.
  • Close the program window, and delete the program from your desktop.
Please note: You may have to disable any script protection running if the scan fails to run. After downloading the tool, disconnect from the internet and disable all antivirus protection. Run the scan, enable your A/V and reconnect to the internet.
