hey every one i have ff7 on pc disk and i downloaded a copy for back up but the copy wont work ? the instructions say :

1. Uncompress the whole stuff into to your ROOT directory.
2. Add ff7.reg to the registry (double click/yes).
3. Change the label of your drive to "ff7disc1", "ff7disc2" or "ff7disc3", whichever disc you're playing on.
4. Run Ff7config.exe and configure. (adding ff7.reg again resets these settings)
5. Run Ff7.exe and enjoy the greatest game ever made!

but ive done it and nothing i dont spose n e 1 cud help me out plz !!!!

i also cant remeber where the root directory is i think its the c:\ drive am i correct ? thanks for reading and n e help is appreciated

If you have it on a disc, right not just install it from there........?

cant help with hacking man sorry... i tried once to ask for help with a ripped version of Max Payne but no can do

Go to a site called torrentportal and download the utorrent thing, then search for games-final fantasy VII PC ultima edition

I have to assume the copy you downloaded was a pirated version. Consider yourself lucky that the download did not contain malware nor do permanent damage to your operating system.
I remind all Members of the forum rule:
