hi all my problem is probably so simple but i have little to no knowledge of computers,i have sky broadband and want to move my pc upstairs can i do this and what hardware do i need.i cant find any wireless connections on my pc and dont know if i have a network adaptor.i have set my router up for a wireless connection but struggling for what to do next.any help would be really appreciated thx

You can check to see if you have a wireless card to connect to your wireless router, just goto the following:
Start > Control Panel > Network Connections

After arriving at the network connections screen, it should show a Wireless Card. If not, you will need to buy a Wireless PCI Card (desktop), or perhaps a Wireless USB adaptor (desktop or labtop) and follow instructions when installing on your pc(s).
