All of a sudden, my windows XP print spooler is not working...a message says the print spooler "service"
is not working.

All print icons have disappeared and I cannot install another printer because of the above.

I really need help on this guys...my local computer "guru" says it is a major problem and will take all day. Somehow, I think the right guy can cure this quickly. How about it.

Dear Luis, Thank you for your quick response. I was really at wit's end with this. With what you sent and FIXIT, I was able to fix it in short order....I also learned how to do it myself if it happens again.

You guys on this web site are really the greatest. I'm sure all of us who visit this site are hugely appreciative.

Best wishes.

Bob Z, (44 guy)
