Hi,

I have a Clevo notebook which to be fair is getting on a bit but was working fine until this morning. When I switch it on, the 1st black screen comes up with the copyright info and system info - it says at the bottom Press F2 to enter set up, but won't go any further than that.

If I press F2 it gors tyo "entering set up"....and that's it.

Any ideas??

Well, as I understand, entering BIOS will not work. This means that the problem occurs already before booting, if it was a normal PC, you could plug the hdd into another PC, but with laptops I dont know if it is that easy.

regards, Elise

:flowers:

Check carefull when it first starts up?

I suspect that pressing the Delete key will allow you to enter BIOS, or a similar one besides F2.

F2 is access to set up, but not the BIOS.
