Hello,

Download AboutBuster.
Unzip AboutBuster in an own folder such as C:\AboutBuster.
Start AboutBuster.exe. Click OK, Update, Check For Update and download the updates if present.
Close aboutbuster now, because you may not run it yet, that's for later.
If You are getting an error when updating, please let me know first before you proceed with the next steps.

* Download and install CCleaner
Do not use it yet.

* Download CWShredder. Don't let it run yet!

* Download this regfix: HSfix
Unzip it and place it on your desktop, don't use it yet!

*It's better to print out these instructions out, because you have a lot of steps to take, so you have a better look on it and this page wouldn't be available all the time.

First, we will make your hidden files and folders visible.
* Click Start.
* Open My Computer.
* Select the Tools menu and click Folder Options.
* Select the View Tab.
* Under the Hidden files and folders heading select Show hidden files and folders.
* Uncheck the Hide protected operating system files (recommended) option.
* Uncheck the Hide file extensions for known file types.
* Click Yes to confirm.
* Click OK.

*Please reboot your system into SAFE MODE.
To get into the Windows XP Safe mode as the computer is booting press and hold your "F8 Key" which should bring up the "Windows Advanced Options Menu". Use your arrow keys to move to "Safe Mode" and press your Enter key.

*Start hijackthis and click scan and put a checkmark next to the following items:

R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar = res://C:\WINDOWS\lbbvo.dll/sp.html#44768
R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Page = res://C:\WINDOWS\lbbvo.dll/sp.html#44768
R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Default_Page_URL = about:blank
R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Default_Search_URL = res://C:\WINDOWS\lbbvo.dll/sp.html#44768
R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Page = res://C:\WINDOWS\lbbvo.dll/sp.html#44768
R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page =
R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,SearchAssistant = res://C:\WINDOWS\lbbvo.dll/sp.html#44768
R3 - Default URLSearchHook is missing
O2 - BHO: Class - {F99FD3DD-B2A7-2E20-544D-4732FB1F2037} - C:\WINDOWS\ntxr32.dll
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [javank32.exe] C:\WINDOWS\system32\javank32.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Security iGuard] C:\Program Files\Security iGuard\Security iGuard.exe

O23 - Service: Network Security Service (NSS) ( 11F#`I) - Unknown owner - C:\WINDOWS\system32\iebw32.exe

*Close all open windows except hijackthis and click 'Fix Checked'.

*Navigate to and delete the following files if present:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\javank32.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system32\iebw32.exe
C:\WINDOWS\ntxr32.dll
C:\Program Files\Security iGuard <== folder
C:\WINDOWS\System32\wldr.dll

*Start Aboutbuster and let it scan. When the scan is done and you choose exit, it will automatically create a log in the same folder where aboutbuster is in.

*Start Cwshredder and click FIX

* Doubleclick on HSfix you downloaded earlier before which is present on your desktop and when it asks you if you want to add the contents to the registry, click yes/ok

* Still in safe mode Run Ccleaner and click Run Cleaner (bottom right)

*Go to start>Control Panel>Internet Options>tab programs> and click restore websettings.

*Reboot your PC back to normal.

* Perform an onlinescan with Kaspersky OnLine and/or Bitdefender and let it delete everything it is finding.

*Post a new hijackthis-log + log aboutbuster which you'll find in the aboutbuster-folder

Hi, your log looks clean again.
But I also want you to check next things:

It could be possible that this hijacker deleted some files, so check if the following are still present:

Control.exe: Is in your C:\WINDOWS\system32. Download here when missing.

Hosts: C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS\ETC .Download here when missing.
Unzip hoster to an own folder, eg C:\Hoster
Start Hoster.exe, click 'Restore Original Hosts' and click OK. Close the program.

Shell.dll: C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32 Download here when missing

SDHelper.dll:
If you are using Spybot Search & Destroy, this hijacker can also delete SDHelper.dll.
Download SDHelper.dll.
Place the file in the Spybot Search & Destroy-folder. Most probably, this ist C:\Program Files\Spybot - Search & Destroy

About the ISScript.msi, look here for several things you need to check and how to use/update/install the ISScript.msi:

http://www.dominet.gr/html/i1607.htm

Success. :thumbsup:

To keep this clean in the future, I would suggest the following things:

Install Spywareblaster
SpywareBlaster doesn`t scan and clean for so-called spyware, but prevents it from being installed in the first place. It blocks the popular spyware ActiveX controls, and also prevents the installation of any of them via a webpage.

Avoid illegal sites, because that's where most malware is present.

Let your antispywarescanner(s) scan frequently and don't forget to update before.

And I do suggest you perform an online virusscan once in a while. (Kaspersky online and/or Bitdefender). Because what one virusscanner can't find another one maybe can.
Also make sure that your virusscanner, the one that is installed on your system is always up to date!

Make sure your windows has the latest updates: http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/

More info on how to prevent malware you can also find here (By Tony Klein)

Don't worry, this sometimes happens, so let's start again.

Make your hidden files and folders visible (important)
* Click Start.
* Open My Computer.
* Select the Tools menu and click Folder Options.
* Select the View Tab.
* Under the Hidden files and folders heading select Show hidden files and folders.
* Uncheck the Hide protected operating system files (recommended) option.
* Uncheck the Hide file extensions for known file types.
* Click Yes to confirm.
* Click OK.

* Reboot into Safe Mode`: ( without networking support !)
To get into the Safe mode as the computer is booting press and hold your "F8 Key". Use your arrow keys to move to "Safe Mode" and press your Enter key.

* Start HijackThis, close all open windows leaving only HijackThis running. Place a check against each of the following:

R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar = res://C:\WINDOWS\lebym.dll/sp.html#44768
R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Page = res://C:\WINDOWS\lebym.dll/sp.html#44768
R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Default_Page_URL = about:blank
R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Default_Search_URL = res://C:\WINDOWS\lebym.dll/sp.html#44768
R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar = res://C:\WINDOWS\lebym.dll/sp.html#44768
R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Page = res://C:\WINDOWS\lebym.dll/sp.html#44768
R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,SearchAssistant = res://C:\WINDOWS\lebym.dll/sp.html#44768
R3 - Default URLSearchHook is missing
O2 - BHO: Class - {FC90281A-715F-5453-5E27-FF1B02AE0DA5} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\iekb32.dll
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [iexplore.exe] C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [addjn32.exe] C:\WINDOWS\addjn32.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\RunOnce: [d3qr32.exe] C:\WINDOWS\system32\d3qr32.exe
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [DellSupport] "C:\Program Files\Dell Support\DSAgnt.exe" /startup
O23 - Service: Remote Procedure Call (RPC) Helper ( 11F#`I) - Unknown owner - C:\WINDOWS\system32\ntvu.exe (file missing)

* Click on Fix Checked when finished and exit HijackThis.

* Search and delete next files manually if still present:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\d3qr32.exe
C:\WINDOWS\addjn32.exe
C:\WINDOWS\lebym.dll
C:\WINDOWS\system32\iekb32.dll
C:\WINDOWS\system32\ntvu.exe

* Run Ccleaner again and hit Run Cleaner.

* Go to start >run and type: services.msc and click OK
Scroll down in that list until you find the service Remote Procedure Call (RPC) Helper
Make sure you choose the one with Helper in it, and no other one!!
Doubleclick on it. In the window that will appear, click on "Stop" (if not greyed out) and change the Startup Type to disabled.
Click apply and OK and close all open windows.

* Still in safe mode, run CWShredder and click FIX

* Also still in safe mode, run Aboutbuster.
Run it twice or three times until it comes up clean.

* Doubleclick hsfix.reg you also downloaded before in your previous fix.

Reboot back to normal mode and perform an online scan again (important)

Post a new hijackthislog + log aboutbuster.
