Just want to introduce myself. I am not a new computer user, but have had tech support through my work in the past. I am now retired and am having problems getting good local tech support. I am hoping to get some support here to get my computer running smoothly again and will be searching for the correct forum to get assistance on a Combofix problem.

Having grandkids is God's way of giving you a 2nd chance because you were too busy working your butt off the 1st time around
Do not send me PMs with problems that should be posted in the forums. Keep it in the forums, so everyone benefits

Hi From Tom B of Lynbrook. I am new too.
This is my first use of a fourm except for the Piriform I signed up for yesterday.
Both sign up pages look the same and work the same ??
They are not the same, as my ID from one will not work onthe other?
How is Piriform and Bleeping connected?

I too had help at work from 400 "kids" that worked at our office help desk.
They got outsourced!
I got retired!

Bleeping has helped me in the past so I decided to join.. Tom,

Welcome to you both.
While BC is not quite like a help desk, you will find other users more than willing to lend a hand if you need help or have a question.

BC is independent of any product, TomB, and while both forum pages may look the same because they use the same forum software, each has its own MemberID. I should also add that CCleaner is a very powerful application, and should be used with the greatest of care, especially if you use its registry module; mucking about in the registry can, unless you are careful, result in a PC that does not work.
Regards,
John
