I ran both AdAware 6.0 and Spybot. Spybot had a problem getting rid of two "Hotsearch bar" items (both registry keys) due to them being in use already. I've asked a friend who knows computer what I should do with previous HJT scans, and so I've cleaned a few things out of my C:\WINDOWS\System32 folder. I did remove (not by deleting, but moving to a folder on my desktop in case they were important) a few files I wasn't sure about. They are WinStat10.dat, WinStat11.dat, WinStat12.dat, WinStat10.dll, WinStat11.dll, winupdt.bin, and winupdt.001. Anyways, on to the HJT log:

Hi Kawaja
Welcome to BC

Please download the trial version of Ewido Security Suite here:
http://www.ewido.net/en/download/
Install it, and update the definitions to the newest files. Do NOT run a scan yet.

Please download Nailfix from here:
http://users.pandora.be/bluepatchy/nailfix.zip
Unzip it to the desktop but please do NOT run it yet.

Next, please reboot your computer in Safe Mode by doing the following:
1) Restart your computer
2) After hearing your computer beep once during startup, but before the Windows icon appears, press F8.
3) Instead of Windows loading as normal, a menu should appear
4) Select the first option, to run Windows in Safe Mode.

For additional help in booting into Safe Mode, see the following site:
http://www.pchell.com/support/safemode.shtml

Once in Safe Mode, please double-click on Nailfix.bat. Your desktop and icons will disappear and reappear, and a window should open and close very quickly --- this is normal.

Then please run Ewido, and run a full scan. Post the log from the scan here for me.

Then please run HijackThis, click Scan, and check:

F2 - REG:system.ini: Shell=Explorer.exe C:\WINDOWS\Nail.exe

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [mficjfs] c:\windows\system32\jcshwb.exe r
O4 - Startup: PowerReg Scheduler V3.exe

O23 - Service: System Startup Service (SvcProc) - Unknown owner - C:\WINDOWS\svcproc.exe

Close all open windows except for HijackThis and click Fix Checked.

Restart your computer in normal mode and please post a new HijackThis log, as well as the log from the Ewido scan.

First of all, thanks for all your help. I really appreciate it  Secondly, the link you gave me for Nailfix wasn't working, so I searched the forum and used this link to download it: http://www.noidea.us/easyfile/file.php?dow...050515010747824

And for HijackThis, I couldn't find two things:
O23 - Service: System Startup Service (SvcProc) - Unknown owner - C:\WINDOWS\svcproc.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [mficjfs] c:\windows\system32\jcshwb.exe r didn't exist, though I assume this is because Ewido's background guard caught it, and when I tried to fix it, it changed, because there was an entry for HijackThis that was gibberish just like it, so I checked it and fixed it.

Ok looking better

Run HiJackThis then:

1. Click "Config..."
2. Click "Misc Tools"
3. Click "Open Process manager"

-

Next, while holding down the CTRL key, locate (if present) and click on (highlight) each of the following:

c:\windows\system32\jjeercy.exe

Now double-check and make sure that only those item(s) above are highlighted, then click "Kill process". Now, click "Refresh", check again, and repeat this step if any remain.

===============

Run HiJackThis and click "Scan", then check(tick) the following, if present:

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [wltyy] C:\WINDOWS\System32\wltyy.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [qgaqdas] c:\windows\system32\jjeercy.exe r

O16 - DPF: {CAFEEFAC-0014-0001-0002-ABCDEFFEDCBA} (Java Runtime Environment 1.4.1_02) -

Now, with all windows closed except HiJackThis, click "Fix checked".

===============

Locate and delete the following item(s), if present. Make sure your able to view system and hidden files/ folders:

C:\WINDOWS\System32\wltyy.exe

-

Note that some of these file(s) may or may not be present. If present, and cannot be deleted because they're 'in use', try deleting them from "Safe Mode".

===============

OK, once again c:\windows\system32\jjeercy.exe kept changing its name whenever I ended it as a process through HijackThis's process manager. It would become another gibberish .exe file. Whenever I tried to delete it in safe mode, it wouldn't work because it was still in use. OK, I used Housecall and Panda Scan for the two AV scans, but only Panda allowed me to save a log, so here that is:

Hi Kawaja

Please print out the instructions here (or save it in Notepad) so that you can follow along more easily.

Please download Nailfix at http://www.noidea.us/easyfile/file.php?dow...050515010747824 Unzip it to the desktop but do NOT run it yet.

Download KillBox, unzip it to your desktop, then run it. Now:

1. select "Action | Delete on reboot".
2. copy/paste the following file name(s), one at a time, in the "Paste Path of File to Delete" field:

c:\windows\system32\lctiej.exe
C:\WINDOWS\Nail.exe
C:\WINDOWS\systb.dll
C:\WINDOWS\wupdt.exe
C:\WINDOWS\s'cproc.exe

3. click "Kill File".
4. when prompted to "Reboot Now" select "No".
5 on the last one when prompted to "Reboot Now" select "yes"

Reboot into Safe Mode by hitting the F8 key repeatedly until a menu shows up (and choose Safe Mode from the list). In some systems, this may be the F5 key, so try that if F8 doesn't work.

Once in Safe Mode, please double-click on nailfix.cmd. Your desktop and icons will disappear and reappear, and a window should open and close very quickly --- this is normal.

Next run a full scan in Ewido. Save the log from the Ewido scan so that you can post it later.

Run a scan in HijackThis. Check each of the following and hit 'Fix checked' (after checking them) if they still exist (make sure not to miss any):

Restart your computer.

Download FindIt's.zip http://forums.net-integration.net/index.ph...=post&id=142443 to your desktop.

1. Unzip/extract the files inside to a folder on your desktop.
2. Open the folder. Double click on FindIt's.bat and wait for Notepad to open a text file. It will take a while so please be patient... Note: If you are having problems using FindIt's.bat (16 bit error), copy autoexec.nt from the C:\WINDOWS\repair folder to C:\WINDOWS\system32 folder. Now try running FindIt's.bat.
3. Then post the results here along with the new HijackThis log. Also post the Ewido scan results here.

Run HiJackThis and click "Scan", then check(tick) the following, if present:

O2 - BHO: Band Class - {01F44A8A-8C97-4325-A378-76E68DC4AB2E} - C:\WINDOWS\systb.dll (file missing)

O3 - Toolbar: (no name) - {2CDE1A7D-A478-4291-BF31-E1B4C16F92EB} - (no file)

Now, with all windows closed except HiJackThis, click "Fix checked".

Download KillBox http://www.greyknight17.com/spy/KillBox.exe. Run KillBox and check the box that says 'End Explorer Shell While Killing File'. Next click on 'Delete on Reboot'. For each of the following files below, check the box that says 'Unregister .dll Before Deleting' if it's not grayed out. Copy and paste each of the following into KillBox (hitting the X button for each file - choose NO when it asks if you want to reboot):

C:\WINDOWS\System32\BH.DLL
C:\WINDOWS\System32\FMOD.DLL
C:\WINDOWS\System32\THININ~1.DLL
C:\WINDOWS\system32\creditcard21.ico
C:\WINDOWS\system32\ pokercard1.ico

on the last one when it asks you to reboot choose yes

Reboot

update Windows and Internet Explorer at http://v5.windowsupdate.microsoft.com/v5co...t.aspx?ln=en-us.

Post back a new log, and let me know how your computer is running.

Everything looks to be running great! No more Aurora pop ups, no pop ups at all actually. Thanks a bunch!
