A recent full scan by Malwarebytes detected the following:

Registry Data Items Infected:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Security Center\FirewallDisableNotify (Hijack.SecurityCenter) -> Bad: (1) Good: (0) -> Quarantined and deleted successfully.

I run Comodo firewall and all has been normal. Both Avira and Comodo have been active with no other noticable problems on my XP SP3 machine.

I had just completed a virus scan by Avira that was clean before Malwarebyte made this detection. I did reboot immediately after the Malwarebyte detection.

I just completed a quick scan by SuperAntiSpyware that was clean after Malwarebyte scan.

Any other issues here I need to be concerned about?

Thanks

See this discussion thread.

MBAM is re-enabling this function in your log

If you are seeing these with no other signs of infection then it is far more likely that your 3rd party security software has disabled these warnings to prevent duplicate security warnings and in these cases telling MBAM to ignore them once will forever solve the issue .

Thanks for that quietman!

It seemed weird because it never occurred before but I now see that it just was added with a recent definition update. There will probably be a lot of people seeing this one.

No doubt. I'm seeing reports at other security sites already.
