I wanted to use some folder locking software(e.g- Folder Security Personal). Can anyone tell me whether this type of application is good or bad? Does it has any bad impact on system? Waiting for reply.

This is a good idea, just remember the folders that are locked, so that later you may be able to install in to the folder or write to the folder. It is not destructive to your system.
