I am getting spam that looks like it coming from my email address.

When I use block sender on outlook express it looks like I am blocking all emails from from me to myself ?

Is this really true, am I blocking myself ?

Thanks

1) Someone may be spoofing your email address. Spammers like to do this-use someone else's address to make look like you sent the spam. Nothing you can do about it-just wait it out. They never use a email address for very long.

2) Your system could be infected. Scan with your antivirus, then with malware scanners.
Malwarebytes and Superantispyware are 2 good ones to use.

3) One of your contacts may be infected and not know it.

4) The only way to find out if you block yourself: Open up OE, and send yourself a message. If you have the rule set up to send the message to Deleted or other folder, check to see if the message is there.
