When I power up my computer I get no display. All the fans come on and I can hear the hard drive working but the screen reads "no input". I thought it was the video card because the monitor works on my other computer, so I replaced it with no different results. The computer is a Sony Vaio, which I've heard have issues with the memory causing some similar problems? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Check for bent pins in the cable and make sure the connection is tight
