Hi,

I've recently re-installed my Vista Ultimate on my main 750 GB HD and I'm able to access it.

But, I've just got done looking in my BIOS for the startup order only to find that this HD isn't even recognized there. Instead it recognized my secondary SCSI 75 GB HD as the main HD.

Does anyone know why this might be and how to get the BIOS to recognize my main HD?

I've been wondering why I'm hearing the SCSI defrag and make noise when I thought that it was inactive sense I've been logging on with my 750 GB HD where I've re-installed Vista.

Anyone?

John

I'm not real familiar with SCSI drives, but if it isn't detected then there's likely to be a problem with it. Try running a hard drive diagnostic on the drive to see if it's recognized.
