Connection problem

I need help

My laptop is running on a wireless network i went to connect earlier this morning and it said you are successfully connected ok so i go on the internet and it says you are not connected so i go to the little network icon on the toolbar it said you are currently not connected ok so i right click select connect to network i chose my wireless router and it said you are already connected so i restarted my aptop the same thing happened so i left it i went to school from 8:30am 4pm got home tried again and it still happened

Any help
