Every time my computer reboots, I get an error message that the above listed file cannot be found. From what I have been able to determine, GetPlus is some kind of download manager related to Adobe products.

I think it is probably is not malware, but I have been unable to get rid of this error message.

C:\ProgramFiles\NOS\bin\GetPlus_HelperSvc.exe does not exist on my system, so the error is correct, it can't find it.

I have tried to fix it using HJT, but it is unable to remove the registry entry in RunOnce. I also cannot manually remove that registry entry, it just keeps coming back once I delete it.

I downloaded the Microsoft Windows Install Cleanup tool, but it did not fix it either.

I have also looked to see if I can disable it in MSCONFIG, but it is not listed in the startup tab.

Here is my HJT log:

I just dawned on me that I had not yet tried to boot into safe mode and try to delete the RunOnce registry key that way, so I gave it a try and the key remained deleted.

I rebooted into normal mode and the error went away.

Sorry for the post. Hopefully someone else will see this and be able to fix it themselves like I did.

Thanks to all the folks here for all the hard work they do helping people like us out!!
