I couldn't think of a better section for my question, so I apologize if this is the wrong location,

I've got a 26'' LCD monitor for my computer and I'd like to be able to play my PS2 (Playstation 2 Console with component out) on it so I can get rid of my old TV. I'm not quite sure how to go about this, I was thinking of getting a TV tuner card, but I've heard that the on-the-fly encoding can be slow and thus lag the controls/display time.

What's are my options? What do you rec. ?

Thanks,

a box like this http://electronicpalace.com/brnewvgaboxf.htm will allow you to hook your ps2 up to your monitor just fine, you dont even have to hook it up to the computer, just the monitor. Id shop around for a better one then this, but then again this might do the trick. Ive used these boxes in the past, they work well, just havent used one on a long time. Like I said, shop around but this will give you an idea of what your looking for.
