So I recently tried playing a video and found that windows media player wasnt opening. Then I went online and saw none of the youtube videos coming up, only comments. My gmail email wouldnt come up, a white page just comes up and it says done. I also cant do alot of other random stuff, like vote in polls. It logged me out of youtube and I cant log back in. I thought about updating my adobe flash player, but when I click the download button nothing happens...

In addition to the virus scan previously suggested I would have a look at the Internet Options in Control panel and make sure that the security settings aren't set to the highest level for the Internet (specifically). As this can cause problems with websites that want to run certain features. Also you might want to check your firewall to make sure that your internet browser is cleared for access.
