Hey guys, this has absolutely nothing to do with computers or anything at all. But I was wondering does anyone know any health tips about captain blacks(cigars)?? I dont inhale the smoke I take a deep breath and then suck and blow it out just to get the taste in my mouth. Is this just as bad as inhaling??? And another thing, if anyone knows, how much should a teenager drink each week?? I drink atleast twice a week and those two days are in a row(fir, and sat) will this be hazardous when im older???

Health Tips Of The Day:

Do NOT ever start smoking cigars or any other tobbaco product. Cigars, although not meant to be inhaled, could cause cancer of the mouth. As does chewing tobbaco. Possibly even cancer of the throat.
Not counting the fact, that tobbaco is highly addictive!
Ask someone who has been smoking thier entire life. They will tell you.

How much should a teenager drink each week? ZERO!!!!
Once one starts to drink, it is hard to stop. Especially if one has alcoholism, in thier family. Plus, drinking can lead to many problems!! Including health, personal, and legal ones as well.

LOL Any more silly questions???

Also another fact about drinking: Teens livers can't get rid of beers and alcohol as fast as adult livers do. Also scarlett is right if you start to drink when you are young you will continue to and not be able to stop and you will turn into an alcoholic. Also yes cigars can be as harmful sucking in as inhaling because both ways you can get cancer.

My advice: Don't smoke at all and don't drink when you are young and don't drink two days in a row.

Alcohol never did anyone any good. It never did me any good thats for sure. As a matter of fact.. even tho I drink only occasionally, there are people in my life that do drink a lot and it breaks my heart sometimes. Please if you are drinking stop it. Alcohol is a very worrisome subject for me. You should not be drinking at all. I wonder if you would even take anyone's advice here. Smoking is bad too. Just don't even start it. It is a bad idea to get started on it. Take it from someone that KNOWS! Your health will be ruined.

Do not anticipate trouble, or worry about what may never happen. Keep in the sunlight.

please, please,please, please, please!!!

stop NOW!

i am a very non-addictive person...i smoked pot in my younger days, and just...quit. i used to drink more when i was younger, and just...quit. i have been thru several major surgeries to the spinal column in my neck..had surgery on both knees, and had my gallbladder burst...so i've been on many narcotics...and just....QUIT!

but i can NOT quit smoking! i have tried EVERYTHING, from hypnosis to xyban. studies show that, in addition to the already extremely addictive quality of nicotine, there are literally HUNDREDS of additives in cigarettes, cigars, etc. additives to make SURE you are addicted, & additives to make the paper burn a certain way! i HATE smoking...and i HATE how much it costs...and i HATE that it RUNS MY LIFE.

if you think it's bad when your mom tells you it's bedtime......imagine how much, when you're 30...or 40..., how much you will totally DETEST it when nicotine tells you "buy more...spend more..hurt yourself more".....and, believe me, it DOES.
i can't breath...so therefore, i can't dance...run...swim...and i HATE that!

i have 3 kids in their early 20's...2 smoke...and already wish they didn't! as to "not inhaling"......i have a very good friend who has had his lower jaw and tongue removed. not a pretty site.....not a pretty life.

as to alcohol....most of us here probably drink in moderation...or very occasionally..and love to "toss back a cold one"...but please remember, hon, that your body is still forming, growing, & developing. give it a chance. your body (and therefore...YOU...) will be MUCH happier in the long run. and remember, alcoholism can strike ANYWHERE. there is NO alcoholism in my family's history, and yet....my sister is a recovering alcoholic. don't take that chance at such a young age!

keep in mind that you have people that LOVE you....and eventually, you may find a VERY special someone...stay HEALTHY for them! but most importantly, stay healthy for YOU!

Wow you guys are awesome with the health tips. I LOVE IT. Im 17 and ever since about January of this year me and my friends have been drinking atleast 8 beers on fridays and saturdays. I feel real bad but I mean alcohol brings out the best of my friends and I like that. I think Im just going to start drinking one night each weekend, like casual drinking. As for cigars, Ill give the three that I have left away to people at the party Im going to tonight. I definitely do not want cancer and want to stay healthy. Thanks guys. Anymore tips?? Oh another thing Im really short for my age you think I can still grow Im 5"5 right now and 17 yrs.
