Clients: Windows XP Professional
I have a master profile on the server and have configured roaming profiles w/ it on 2 other machines. This setup works great unless the server is D/Ling torrents w/ a large amount of connections (ie. 150+). To clarify, during said times, the client machine slows to a halt -- I'm not referring to browsing the web mind you, but just browsing local files in explorer. I am also not referring to slow login/logoff -- said times are resonable (profiles are small).
I am confused why this matters though, b/c doesn't a roaming profile access the network only twice each session? (Once to load it during login, and once to save it during logout?)
Obviously I am wrong, given the lag. Any insight on this appreciated.
