Why has some of my fonts turned blue

The font colour has changed on my C drive and documents and settings folder. also some file names have also turned blue and some have even gone transparent. Please could someone help i've been trying to find a solution to this problem for ages to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Go to your control panel and click on "display", then "appearance" and adjust the font colors there.
