Java - Yay or Nay?

On one side, many websites and programs use Java for some stuff while on another side, Java is an indirect security risk.

Any opinions?

Some stuff, especially games, won't run without it.

It's always a good thing-- but I wish Java would take further SECURITY precautions then it does now. Javascript cant kill people's computers.
Who said I couldn't have everything?
