After the 2 latest Comodo updates made my spysweeper, malwarebytes and superantispyware not function, I went back to using the old version without problems. Not sure how long it will take for Comodo to come out with a fix update. Is it better to continue using the version prior to the bad updates or look for an alternative? Is there a good alternative to Comodo?

What exactly did Comodo do to SpySweeper, MBAM and SAS? By "not function", does this mean they do not load, they do load with errors etc. The firewall could be blocking it, e.g do they work if you close Comodo.

If so I think all you need to do is ensure access is allowed for these programs.

I'm about to insall these programs myself anyway, so i'll let you know if I get the same problem.

Hi, I don't use spysweeper but I have and do the other 2 on seceral machiness with no problems. It seems your not configured properly to allow them. Did you select "Treat as an Installer or update ? " That should configure it easily and automatically.

By not function I mean when I tried to scan that normally would takes 10 minutes took over 1 hour or more and malewarebytes froze on scan. I tried the first update and the second that was a fix and the problem continued. The old version is fine
