Hello and welcome to the forum. :thumbup2:

My name is Dave and I am here to help you clean your computer.

Please, while we are working on your problem:
  • Continue with this thread; please do not start another!
  • Do not make any changes on your computer during the cleaning process or download/add programs on your computer unless instructed to do so.
  • Let me know if any of the links do not work.
  • Tell me about any problems that may occur during the fix.
  • Ask any questions that you have regarding the fix(es), the infection(s), the performance of your computer, etc.

I see that you ran HJT in Safe Mode. Were you unable to run it in Normal Mode? Can your computer boot into Normal Mode?

If you can only boot into Safe Mode, you might have to download these tools onto another computer and then transfer the files, either with a Flash Drive or burn a CD. (I prefer to burn a CD as anything nasty on your computer might make it onto a Flash Drive)

Let's get a better idea of how your computer is doing. You should try to run the following in Normal Mode. Let me know if you cannot.

  • Download random's system information tool (RSIT) by random/random from here and save it to your desktop.
  • Double click on RSIT.exe to run RSIT.
  • Click Continue at the disclaimer screen.
  • Once it has finished, two logs will open. Please post the contents of both log.txt (<<will be maximized) and info.txt (<<will be minimized)

Thanks.

DR
