Unable to download

As stated in the title, I cannot download anything.

When I save the file, the progress bar completes, but the file is nowhere on my computer.
If I try to run the file from, the progress bar completes and closes, but nothing further happens.

Any ideas?

Which browser are you using and what version of Windows? In your downloads settings, where do you have it set to download to?
Have you done a search for the file? What type of download and where from?
