Reviewing the list of windows services I see an unknown service named "GV" where its image file is in /user???/local settings/temp/gv.exe. I'm unable to find anything on it. It shows a manual startup and its status is stopped or not started. What is this service? Thanks in advance.

I found these referrences via Google regarding this:
http://www.orbitals.com/gv/faq.htm
http://www.hijackfree.com/en/processdetails/file1303.aspx

Have you encountered either of these programs/websites in the past, or has anyone who might use your computer done so?

Edit: Ah, ok, dc3. That makes more sense than what I wrote.
