My flash drive reads as a "fixed" drive rather than a "removable" drive/media.. Is there a tool that can switch it to "removable?"

nevermind.. i figured it out.
I had used tool to "flip the removable bit" to make it fixed (so i could make partitions) but it caused problems.. I went ahead and tried flipping it again (i hesitated and asked here first because there was no "unflip" button and I didn't know if that would mess it up) and it worked. the tool i used to flip it is here just incase anyone needs a partitioned USB device. (it may not work on all USB devices..)
