frequency out of range

everything works fine no my comp but i was trying to convert videos and i get the messege " 27.9khz/53.2hz frequency out of range try other resolutions" then i have to hold the power button to shut down only way. what seems to be my problem? why is it only when i try video converters? the videos convert to about 70% then this happens. i have uninstalled and tryed different video converters only to get the same messege.

26 veiws and still no help ? im also on a couple other help boards around the net and i havent had no luck in any kind of answer

FWIW: "frequency out of range" usually relates to monitor issues.
