My original thread is here: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/ind...?showtopic=2058

I have tried a restore as well....it doesn't help. I am using someone else's logon, so I am able to download things, it is just that my WMP is still screwed up. I was thinking maybe I could just delete my user account and add a new one? But I have never done that before, so I'm a bit uncertain as to what would happen. Thanks again....

Can you try and do a couple on line virus scans. Let them clean what they can and please post back with the results of the scans.

Reboot after each scan. Run HijackThis again and post a fresh log along with the virus scan results please.
