I had some malware on my computer. I found combofix and ran it. It worked great and cleaned it all off. I had no troubles when using it outside of it killing my internet.

I can not connect to the internet. I don't get any errors, I have rebooted my modem, router, and my computer. I have tried releasing and renewing my ip address. Repairing my network and still nothing seems to work.

If I open FireFox or IE nothing happens. It just times out and gives me the default error of page not found.

I could really use some help on this one as nothing I can think of seems to work.

P.S. Sorry if this is the wrong forum.

First, I don't think combofix is the safest tool to get rid of your malware, it is a powerful tool that can harm your computer. The recommendations on this forum are not to use unless asked for. So there might be a possibility your problems are caused by the use of ComfoFix.
I would advice you to download (if you have a computer with internet nearby), update and perform a quick scan with Malwarebytes antimalware. I once had a similar problem with page not found errors while everything seemed okay and it was caused by some kind of malware.

Thanks for the help, I'll give that a try and get back to you afterwards.

I should have looked into combofix alittle more more then I did before I used it.
