Just wanted to say, "HI!" to everyone here at bleeping computer. I am currently employed (thankfully!) as the Technical Specialist at one of the public high schools in NE FL. I am responsible for 800+ PCs, 225 Staff and 1800 (give or take) student accounts along with the associated network infrastructure that binds them all together.

As you can imagine, I spend MOST of my day chasing down kids that try to circumvent the content filters to get to MySpace, Facebook, etc (not to mention afew more unsavory sites) along with the never ending, "I can't get my email!" and "Is the internet down?", but all in all I love my job and the people I work with/for.

I am hoping that this site will be my saviour when trying to combat the latest, "nasties" on the web that seem to CONSTANTLY invade my network and also, hopefully to be able to lend a helping hand to someone else in need!

I don't envy your job, especially with keeping your computers safe while clever high school students attempt to work around all your measures. Welcome to BC!
Regards,
John
