i use IE 6 on a laptop running Windows XP. in the last week, something new in my system has been blocking pop-ups -- even ones I want like "live chat" options on my ISP website and there's no box or message i can find to let me override and temporarily allow the pop-ups. something (the same thing?) is event preventing me from jumping to a website from a link embedded in my outlook email.

i recently downloaded the latest versions of Ad Aware and SpyBot. it seems that it was right after that that this started.

before, IE would block pop-ups and I'd get the message right under the toolbar that told me and let me click to temporarily allow.

now, there's a very quick "pop up blocked" along the bottom and no way to override.

i'm posting here before uninstalling ad aware and spybot to see if that helps.

In IE click on Tools> Pop-up Blocker. At the bottom of the page you should see Filter Level, try using a lower level.

Family and loved ones will always be a priority in my daily life.  You never know when one will leave you.
