Hi. In advance, thanks for your help with my problem.

I have an ASUS M50 running Windows Vista Ultimate

Google appears to be hijacked. When ever i search for anything, i select the item that i want and a new tab opens that goes to the website that i select and then forwards to a spam search site. I then click the back button on the browser to get back to the site that i want.

I tried to run dds but after 3 minutes my laptop automatically reset.

I currently either use Google Chrome or IE7 for browsing. I deleted Firefox because Google was hijacked and i thought that chrome would be as stable as Firefox...although that appears to be wrong!

Ok, problem solved.

Have used a program called Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware to fix the problem, it automatically scans the registry and finds problems.
