no sound after changing system

I have no sound on my everex stepnote VA1500v any help out there please

I bet it is a driver issue but it may be disabled. Go to My Computer then to Control panel, in Control panel go to system then click on hardware then device manager. You will see your systems hardware listed, there should be no Yellow check marks especially by sound & video, right the sound to get properties make sure it is enabled. Then try up dating the driver which may be on the Windows disk if not go online and down load it from the manufacturers site.
