If I am not using this site properly please except my apoligies in advance. I know everyone is yelling I need help. Guess what I need someones help also. lol ON Feb 21st all was well with my laptop. I closed it and tried to open late that night and all I could get was IE7 to flash up and turn itself off. I have been trying anything and everything I could think of for 1 week solid now. I have purchased and ran reg cure and paretologic, mozy home and several other tools from windows and aol. I had to use IGoogles search engine during this and while using it I found out I also could not open certain web pages. I would enter the web page and it would just hang blank basically in the air. I would hit refresh and it would just go back to the page I was on when I tried to enter the web site. I will tell you it is True.com a dating site. I have spoken with them several times but they have failed but have tried very hard to get me into there site. I finally have uninstalled IE7 and reinstalled it and now have IE7 working correctly I believe. I just downloaded hijack this and up comes one of the problems I was having but until I started reading I did not know what it was. When I am on IE7 and jumping from page to page web surfing I all of a sudden get these tabs coming up that just say blank on them. They are blank when I go and look at them.lol I think it is the virus that has caused all my problems. I have ran all the tools I can think of and could afford but this virus is taking over my computer and all of its settings. I have printed a million pages with my printer and now I can not get it to print. I have looked at the settings and they all have been changed. I am still working on that problem also. I just ran hijackthis but I am not sure what I am looking at when it pulled all of the programs up. I guess I am asking if anyone can help me get rid of this bug and read what hijackthis pulled up and tell me what I need to delete. Any help from anyone would be appreciated. Please let me know at thornjr2@aol.com if anyone can or will help.

Thanks and again sorry for the delay.

We need to see some information about what is happening in your machine. Please perform the following scan:
  • Download DDS by sUBs from one of the following links. Save it to your desktop.
  • Double click on the DDS icon, allow it to run.
  • A small box will open, with an explaination about the tool. No input is needed, the scan is running.
  • Notepad will open with the results.
  • Follow the instructions that pop up for posting the results.
  • Close the program window, and delete the program from your desktop.
Please note: You may have to disable any script protection running if the scan fails to run. After downloading the tool, disconnect from the internet and disable all antivirus protection. Run the scan, enable your A/V and reconnect to the internet.
