Message popup about a program that failed to load

Whenever I log on to the computer a message box shows that a C program for m3 plugin fail to load. this was something my grandchildren and I can't get rid of it; please help

Just for clarification, you are using W98 or ME?
You can open Windows Media Player and click on Tools. Click on plug ins and see what they added, and remove it
Hopefully some one will correct me if I'm wrong. I do not mess with WMPhardly at all
