The title basically explains it all. The funny thing is, I was updating AdAware when it happened. No internet or anything was running except for the update. After the restart, Norton didn't show up on the toolbar and I can't run it at all. Security Center is not detecting any firewall. I tried a system restore but when I get to a certain point I can't click next. I restrarted using last good known config settings, still hasn't worked. I also tried starting up in safe mode. NOTHING! Please help!

This is what I've done but nothing has worked. I ran Stinger in safe mode. Ran AdAware. Two viruses were found (PossibleBrowserHijackattempt, Win32.Trojan.Agent). I clicked quarantine, hope that's right. I usually click remove, don't know why I clicked quarantine. Removed a file Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware found called iamfamous.dll. It was in my Firefox folder which probably explains why I was being redirected to porn.

Got this message while looking at a website.
Your computer generates an attacking DOS requests at our servers. This attack was provoked by the spyware/virus named 'Troj/Rustok-N'.

I've posted on two other forums a week ago and still have not received any help. PLEASE HELP! I desperately need it. If you have any questions, I'll be here to answer them.

Hello jormor1991 :thumbup2: Welcome to the BC HijackThis Log and Analysis forum. I will be assisting you.

I ask that you refrain from running tools other than those we suggest to you while we are cleaning up your computer. The reason for this is so we know what is going on with the machine at any time. Some programs can interfere with others and hamper the recovery process.

I also ask that you do not follow any other instructions from other forums since neither of us would know what the other one was doing which could cause more problems than it fixed.

In the upper right hand corner of the topic you will see a button called Options. If you click on this in the drop-down menu you can choose Track this topic. By doing this and then choosing Immediate E-Mail notification and then clicking on Proceed you will be advised when we respond the your topic and facilitate the cleaning of your machine.

After 5 days if a topic is not replied to we assume it has been abandoned and it is closed.

Please perform the following. Do not put the logs in a quote box, it makes it a little harder for us to work on them.

Do an online scan with Kaspersky WebScanner

Click on Kaspersky Online Scanner

You will be prompted to install an ActiveX component from Kaspersky, Click Yes.
  • The program will launch and then begin downloading the latest definition files:
  • Once the files have been downloaded click on NEXT
  • Now click on Scan Settings
  • In the scan settings make that the following are selected:
    • Scan using the following Anti-Virus database:
