I recently contracted the antivirus 360 virus and one of the side effects is that when I click on Internect explorer, it flashes open briefly then disappeares. I can connect by disabling the add-ons. My problem is I've followed the directions from this site to remove the virus but when I get to the part that requires me to start the scan, the window does not open long enough for me to start the scan. Any suggestions?

Do you mean the Malwarebytes scan?

If mbam won't install

Some types of malware will disable MBAM and other security tools. If MBAM will not install, try renaming it. Right-click on the mbam-setup.exe file and change the .exe extension to .bat, .com, .pif, or .scr and then double-click on it to run.

If after installation, MBAM will not run, open the Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware folder in Program Files, right-click on mbam.exe and change the .exe as noted above. Then double-click on it to run.
