Hi all, wonder if you can help. I have a Dell Mini Inspiron 910 running XP Home that has been infected with Smitfraud, I have installed and run Malwarebytes whilst in safe mode (Admin profile) and removed 110 infections but now I'm unable to log into my normal profile in any mode; every time I click on my login icon the machine seems to try to log on but then logs off again within seconds; the Admin profile in safe mode is still accessible. Is there a new variant of Smitraud that is causing this? FYI - I have just had a call from a friend who has also been infected with Smitfraud and is experiencing the same problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
