Hey guys just wondering if you may have an idea why when playing euchre my computer keeps freezing up. Its not the browser as it will freeze whether i am using Mozellia or IE. I have run a complete virus scan and nothing major was detected. I am wondering if I may have a registry error of some kind? Is there some type of automatic scan I can do to possibly detect the problem.........Thanks

thanks for the help...... now how do i get the needed info as far as Ram, Motherboard, the PC is a Compaq EVO... Also I have noticed at the bottom right under running programs , I am getting 3 and sometimes 4 Java Applets running at the same time. I believe this from my freezing up at yahoo games , closing out and re-entering and causing duplicate applets to run......

What model Evo?

Or all fans spinning? Is the system free of dust that might lead to overheating?

Have you checked Event Viewer for errors...indicators of problems which need user attention? Start/Run...type eventvwr.msc and hit Enter.

I would check the Applications and the System tabs.

Double-click on any errors to see the detail.
