My girlfriend downloaded something today for her myspace called webfetti. When she ran spybot it came up with something called MyWebService or something like that. I think she downloaded a virus. When she rebooted TeaTimer went nuts with allow or deny registry changes, but they just went in a cycle of trying over and over. No matter how many times we clicked deny it kept bringing the same changes back and asking again instantly. I eventually had to turn off TeaTimer to get the popups to stop to post this. Under msconfig and start up there are more and more programs now on auto start up that wont go away, and for some reason her computer wont start in safe mode. Her OS is XP Pro version 2002 with service pack 3. Here is her Hijack this log.

Hi,

Your Teatimer is indeed interfering here.
I suggest you to disable it because it can interfere with the changes you'll make on your system.
When everything is done and your log is clean again, you can enable it again.
If teatimer gives you a warning afterwards that some changes were made, allow this instead of blocking it.
How to disable TeaTimer <== click me for instructions.

Then, REBOOT your computer (because Spybot still has a runonce entry set to remove the malware after reboot).

After reboot, rescan with HijackThis and post a new log in your next reply.

Also, Go to this page.
Enter the url of this thread in the first field.
Where it says, browse to the file that you want to submit, click the browse button next to it and browse to next file:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\dvmurl.dll

Select it and click ok:
Then click the Send File button below.

I sent the file as requested on the page you linked.

Followed instructions exactly. Msconfig looks clean, Spybot has stopped working for some reason, so I am going to have to figure that out before I can do a full check, but no odd programs on the startup list makes me think we are clean. Thank you so much for the help I truly and deeply appriciate it.

Glad I could help. :thumbup2:

Please read my Prevention page with lots of info and tips how to prevent this in the future.
And if you want to improve speed/system performance after malware removal, take a look here.
Extra note: Make sure your programs are up to date - because older versions may contain Security Leaks. To find out what programs need to be updated, please run the Secunia Software Inspector Scan.
