Hey guys.

I have sygate personal firewall. It's normally completely fine, but just a a little while ago, I tried going to gmail (using mozilla firefox) but sygate "prevented application firefox.exe from accessing the network". Google and other sites worked fine. Gmail wouldn't work till I turned off the firewall (something I'm not comfortable doing.

I checked my applications list and firefox is on the allowed list so I'm not sure WHAT is going on, especially since it was working earlier today.

I haven't used Sygate in quite some time, but it is an excellent program.
Changes in the firefox.exe file (due to an update) can cause this behavior.
I'd suggest creating a new rule to allow the current firefox.exe to access the internet.
My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.
