I've recently uninstalled .NET Framework 3.5 sp1 and it left behind one of its folders. When I tried to delete the folder it wouldn't delete and this message appears:cannot delete microsoft .net framework sp1: the directory is not empty.
I don't understand why it won't let me delete the folder even though the application has been uninstalled and has left behind that folder.

You may want to try the procedures outlined at http://blogs.msdn.com/astebner/archive/200.../08/406671.aspx
