It appears I have some malicious software lurking on this computer. After some searching, it seems that this site is the place to go for the best help. I appreciate the detailed instructions on your pages.

I went through the start files on msconfig and found kumiberu and mivalivo lurking there. It appears that removal is tricky. AVG does not detect anything. I ran spybot and it found 19 issues that were cleaned up.

Before I removed the two aforementioned processes, I was getting IE windows attempting to open (funny, because when I loaded XP on this computer, IE never loaded correctly so I use firefox). I say attempting to open, as it never displays anything and I have to ctrl/alt/del to stop the process since I cannot close the window.

Here is the DDS file:
Thanks for your help!

Dave.
